If you want to confirm that weight you gained is due to hypothyroid, get you TSH tesy done.
If want to loose weight you have to stick to low fat, low callory, high fibre diet. For this you have to restrict your intake of nonveg, oils,ghee, butter,sweets, sugar and increase intake of vegetables and salad. Avoid junk food.
Regular exercise is essential part of weight reduction.

Avoid all outside food that includes junk, processed food as well as food items that are oily, sugary, or salty. Instead eat home cooked meals with 4 to 5 servings of fruits and veggies. Have your dinner early and keep it light. Eat a protein rich breakfast every morning. Drink plenty of water throughout the day; especially before meals. 2. Add 2-3 Fruits per day taken in gaps between meals. 3. Cut down Sweets/Biscuits/ Colas from your diet. Take 10-15 almonds per day. 4. Completely eliminate Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice etc
5. Eat plain roti/rice with simple dal and lots of salad in each meals.
6. Exercise daily - 'Intense' Cardio for 40-60 mins. This will keep you slim and trim.

If you desire to lose weight healthily and sustainably, I would advise you to give your body time to shed weight. Ideally you should lose 3-4 kgs in a month with a wholesome diet and exercise. Hello, For PCOD, avoid all junk foods and include more fibre rich foods like greens and other vegetables, also more protein rich foods. Do exercise. For at least 45 mins everyday. Drink. There is no easy way to lose weight. Adding or eliminating any one food item will not help in losing weight. Stil you should restrict sugar in your coffee. You have to exercise and eat healthy to lose weight off. Start by cutting out rice, baked items, bread, sugar and oily foods from your diet completely.
