Hyperthyroidism if confirmed, needs specific therapy with antithyroidi drugs. Depending upon the response these drugs need to be used for 18 to 24 months. Then one has to observe to see if everything has become normal. If not further treatments may be required. The thyroid hormone test results do point towards presence of Hyperthyroidism. But in that condition there is an increased metabolic activity, increased heart rate, even palpitations, loss of weight, increased hunger and eating. Your thyroid test results are in the normal range. There is no reason to take any treatment at present. You will have to monitor the levels once is six months to see if there is any major change. At present there is no problem at all. If you have any doubts please comeback. Thanks.

Hello, thanks for the query.
The t4 value mentioned (1.96 ng/ml) appears to be incorrect, because that is showing too low. In hyperthyroidism it is usually very high (> 12 ng/ml). Tsh is lower than 0.01 or 0.02 mu/l. Please check that. If you have been on treatment for just one month all the symptoms will not go away. Tsh value needs to come to around 3 to 4 mu or even a bit high.
