Hello, as your grandfather has uncontrolled blood sugar level, and has vision problem in one eye, you should consult opthalmologist first and rule out diabetic retinopathy (common complication of eye related to diabetes), and get him checked throughly for other diabetes related complications too like nephropathy, neuropathy etc.

Depends upon your blood sugar control, if control is bad causes sexual weakness. Excessive sex can be a factor for diabetes according to unani. Because sex is depends upon urinary system, and diabetes also some how a disease of excessive urination.

There are 2 types of Diabetes mellitus. In Type 1 Diabetes, Insulin is not secreted by the pancreas, hence it is known as insulin dependenent Diabetes and in Type 2 Insulin is secreted by blood but is not effective in reducing blood sugar and hence it is known as Non insulin dependent Diabetes mellius. MODY is maturity onset diabetes of the young.
It a rare type of diabetes different from type 1 & type 2.Its incidence is only 1-2%of all diabetic cases.
This is caused by mutation in single gene.
