Dear Madam

If the cyst is infected, it is wise to remove it under antibiotic cover.

Aloe is an antibiotic but of milder character.

Hi. Initially for an infected sebaceous cyst, oral antibiotics will be required to decrease the infection and it's size. Then excision will be required with suturing. The cost, number of stitches and recovery period depend on size and location of the cyst.

My mother is having a treatment of archanoid spinal cyst from past 4 years. Little buzzing noise started in her years 6 month ago which suddenly stopped after two months and she had pain behind ear. Suddenly approx 1.5 months ago she had extreme dizziness (room moving) ,vomiting .dr said it is cervical problem and gave medications for it. Dizitac tab (cinnarizine+dimenhydrinate, rejunex cd3 ,pentanerv for 1 month and then again continued for 20-25 days. He also gave osteoarthritis medications which he stopped after 20 days but others are still continuing. After dizziness she had extreme fatigue .she can't even sit for more than 15 mins for 3-5 days. Even after 1.5 months she gets tired very extremely even on doing very little work/walking. She has headache sometimes too in the centre of head .should we go for mri? Can it be symptoms of something other than cervical problems? Is it it symptom of brain tumor or due to her spinal arachnoid cyst? Should we go for mri? Check her calcium levels and check her motor power of limbs go for electrolyte tests. As such arachnoid cyst won’t do anything to other parts of body. There is not a feature of tumour at all. Do eye refractive error check list down drugs of osteoarthritis and check these are the side effects of these or not.

Ovarian cysts can also lead to problems with the menstrual cycle, such as heavy or irregular periods, or spotting (abnormal vaginal bleeding between periods). Menstrual cycle problems occur if the cyst produces sex hormones that cause the lining of the womb to grow more.
