Yes,you should go for capping because after RCT tooth became brittle so there is possibility it can get fracture that's why it is mandatory to get a capping done after RCT.

It depends on how much tooth structure is remaining. If it is grossly vertically fractured then it is difficult to restore it back.

If tooth build up is possible then we build up tooth and go for new crown if build up is not possible then remove tooth and go for bridge after completely healing of extraction site otherwise we can do implant also.

then giving you a solution will be apt getting a crown is always good as it can bear the stress much better than before but deciding on getting a crown or not, it all depends on how much tooth structure is left.
Also
try to save your natural tooth as possible. May be tooth did not chip off, your white filling chipped off and you thought its the tooth.

Hello Lybrate user. I advice you to, apply metrogyl ointment in the gums, a pea size of ointment. Apply it on gums for two times a day for, three days. Then take antibiotic and pain killers for three days, then take an xray of that infected teeth and consult me. My code is 2849698e.

this usually happens in rare cases when lower teeth is involved. plz wait for 10 days more and it will subside on its own.

You can go for permanent filling after removing temporary filling if you have no pain on that tooth.
