I did root canal on lower right grinding teeth and 3rd step over, doctor said root canal procedure is completed after putting artificial roots and put a temporary white paste and revisit after 1 week to take impression of teeth for crown. After chewing soft food on that side after 3 days, tooth chipped of, loosing 75% structure of tooth upto gum line but base is ok I think leaving only the temporary paste which they used to cover the tooth hole. Will new crown can placed or that tooth fully need to be removed? I am worried.

If you not get crown than teeth will become decay completely. So cap is necessary. But it depends on condition of teeth
