For a person with diabetes, first and foremost is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Then he has to increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. The foods mentioned can be taken is a very small quantity, but strict glucose control is a must.

Having ragi jeera chapati I good start towards healthy lifestyle but alone it will not help in weight loss. General tips does not work all time since everybody has different body but you can try these tips-
1. Eat small frequent meals 2.Have balanced meal including carbs, proteins, fats & vitamins
3. Keep yourself well hydrated
Don't feel shame to take help of nutritionist to lose weight. They can help you in much better & correct way to lose weight for long term.
