No you shud visit a dentist n get a proper radiograph done .if the tooth is tilted on either side ,it vl cause you pain again and again and in that case you vl have to surgically remove it ie the tooth. But if the tooth is in straight line the dentist vl just cut off the extra gum covering your tooth so as to prevent food accumulation and infection there.

Hello lybrate-user, you are 14 years old. You can check with a nearby dentist and get your braces done. Getting braces at your age is good and treatment is faster.

Hello lybrate-user, sorry to hear the difficulty you are facing. I would suggest you to visit the earlier dentist who had your teeth removed and tell him what the new dentist has told you and continue your treatment from the doctor who got your teeth removed. Braces treatment varies between dentists. Just make sure you do not face the problems that you where informed, if your starting to face inform the treating dentist and they will treat it.

Hello lybrate-user.
Very sorry to hear about your situation. But it's is good that your life has been saved. I need to see your x-ray & ct scan to see how much bone is present & how many implants & teeth can be fixed. The cost will depend on that. Please share your x-rays & ct scans

Hello lybrate-user. Retainers can be fixed too. It's not necessary you will need a removable retainer. Which retainer you will need will depend upon your case. Even when we give removable retainer to stabilize the teeth, is stopped after 6 months or a year. But if the patient's teeth start to move again after stopping retainer, then the patient needs to wear it again. Fixed retainers are invisible & are bonded on the teeth from inside.

Fyi, wisdom teeth eruption is a continuous process in most patients between the age of 25-38 years. If the situation doesn't settle in 2 days, visit a local dentist for medication prescription. Kindly do not take medicine on your own. For further information, can opt for online consultation. Thanx and rega...more
