Uric acid increase occurs due to some internal metabolic problem. To reduce the uric acid level you will have to reduce the intake of ceratin sea foods, - sardines, haddock, salmon, herring, mussels, shell fish, red meat, organ meat. Plus avoid alcohol and aerated sweetened drinks. If necessary ceratin drugs that help in excreting uric acid may be taken. Thanks.
