- You can increase your hemoglobin by consuming iron & folate rich foods such as green leafy vegetables, fruits such as apple, guava, banana, citrus fruits ( important for proper absorption of iron from food), beans, lentils, pulses, figs, eggs, non veg especially liver, dates, dried fruits, jaggery & fortified foods such as cereals
