Home Remedies For Face: Procedure, Recovery, Risk & Complication

What is the remedy about?

Skin concerns are a considered to be an inevitable problem for teenagers but can happen to a person of any age at any point in the life. They include dark spots, pimples, discoloration and black and white heads. There can be various reasons such as inadequate skin care, sun exposure, unhealthy food habits or hormonal imbalances. Various home remedies are listed here. Apple cider vinegar has anti-inflammatory properties that fight acne, and the acidic nature helps to lighten dark spots and blemishes. Dilute it with three parts of water, apply on the affected area and wash it off after 10-15 minutes. For best results use 2-3 times daily. Lemon juice works as natural disinfectant removing the acne causing bacteria. Wash your face normally and apply lemon juice to the affected area, leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off. If you are using this remedy at night, then you can leave it on while you sleep and wash off in the morning. Aloe Vera encourages new skin cells growth and also helps in healing scars and blemishes. Apply the gel you extracted from the leaf and wash it off when it dries. You can also try tomato rubbing as it is rich in vitamins A and C as well as antioxidants. They also tighten the skin pores and shrink pimples. Just rub a half tomato over affected area and massage it for few minutes. Then wash it off. Turmeric, the yellow-tinged spice is considered an effective home remedy for acne. Choose the best remedy suitable for your skin type to derive the benefits.

Are there any side effects?

It is a misconception that home remedies from natural products are totally harmless. Even if the remedies are all natural, it can never be touted as free of side effects. Using the wrong product or the wrong ingredient in treatments can cause severe irritation and allergic reactions. This query can only be answered on an individual basis and not in general. Many people are allergic to common home products and ingredients, and they should be very careful while following any of the above remedies. They can try a patch test before applying the parts and see if it is all right with them. Any irritation and complication observed or even the slightest glitch are faced, you should prohibit the use of that particular thing. Also, you should be conscious of your skin type before applying any treatment. If your skin is dry or flaky, be very careful while using fruit extracts, potato, tomato or lime juice as they can dehydrate your skin, making it more sensitive and often leading to irritation. For oily skin, you should avoid using milk fats, malai or oils on your face as this would clog pores leading to more whiteheads and acne. Also, your hands and every object you use while acknowledging the remedy should be cleaned as they can also be the reason for boils and infections. If facing irritation, never hesitate to contact a dermatologist.

What are the post-remedy guidelines?

Well, there ought to be some guidelines to follow after every treatment, but for home remedies, there aren’t. You should stick to steps of the remedies and never experiment on your own by mixing any other ingredient into it. Also, you should never try applying all the remedies at once as this can cause severe irritation and reaction. To support the solution to be more efficient and respond fast in curing blemishes you should be mindful in your daily habits including food habits also. Drink plenty of water as it flushes out the toxins, improves circulation which altogether helps in fighting blemishes. Also having included healthy fats and proteins in your diet would also result great. Healthy fats like Omega-3 fatty acids make the skin flexible, draining out the sebum of pores. It takes patience to find the best home remedies that suit you well and once you find it, include as a part of your regular skin care routine.

How long does it take to recover?

The time taken to realize the difference post use of home remedies depend on various factors. The severity of the problem is one of them. The other factors include how thoroughly you stick to the application steps and if you are using them in right way or not. Maintaining healthy food habits will help to recover faster. Usually, the complications can be seen to be diminishing at the end of the week if the remedy is applied as for the said duration. With everything proper in its place, the result can be observed after a week or even a month.

Are the results of the remedy permanent?

This is a debated query, and it can be said that the results are not permanent. You can recover the same problem over a period if you are unable to find the cause of the problem. These remedies are just a temporary cure to remove the blemishes but not the causal reason. As said above there are many reasons such as exposure to the sun, unhealthy food habits or hormonal imbalance. Try your best to tackle these problems as much as you can and hence improve your results post a home remedy. Also, you can make the most suitable home remedy of your choice to include in your daily chores for more improved results.

Is there any training or experts required?

The above said home remedies are of the simplest forms and no such training or supervision of experts are needed. You can try them at home whenever you want with no help required from any second person. Just be careful with the ingredients used and make sure you have no harm using them. If you do not get the desired results, don’t get disheartened and take advantage of another alternative home remedy. Also if your problems are severe one then make sure you contact dermatologists with the home remedies continuing in the background. Children should always be under the supervision of adults during the whole process.

Face Rejuvenation - 5 Myths Debunked!
5 facial rejuvenation myths debunked A cosmetic treatment that aims to restore the youthfulness of your face is known as facial rejuvenation. This face enhancement can be achieved through either surgical or non-surgical means and involves procedures like facelift, neck lift, brow lift and eyelid lift. This subject also comes with its fair share of myths, which are: Myth 1: facelifts only tighten the skin This is not true. In a facelift procedure, the surgeon simply doesn't tighten your facial skin but lifts and tightens the underlying tissues and muscles. As a consequence, it is not only the skin that ends up looking tighter but your entire face. Myth 2: crow's feet can be removed using eyelid lift An eyelid lift is performed to remove fat that accumulates around your eye area. Fat in this area causes bags under your eye. This process aims at the tightening of the skin surrounding your eyelid region. But eyelid surgery doesn't prevent the muscles in this area from contracting, which is a cause of crow's feet or wrinkles. Myth 3: it is not safe for dark-skinned people While ablative laser procedures may not be ideal for individuals with darker skin tones as they are more at risk of developing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (it refers to a form of temporary pigmentation that occurs following an injury or an inflammatory disorder), treatments like microdermabrasion (a procedure that removes dead skin cells using a special diamond tip instrument) and chemical peels (a technique used to smoothen and improve your skin texture) can be safely done. Myth 4: all injectable treatments are the same The function that an injectable serve is either one of these two: it prevents your nerves from signalling the muscles (which is what botox does), or fills up spaces to remove wrinkles and fine lines. They are therefore not the same. Injectables differ from one another based on ingredients, duration, the part of the face where they are used and results. Myth 5: facial surgeries and cosmetic injectables don't give you a natural appearance The key to getting a natural appearance from your facial rejuvenation procedure lies with consulting with a qualified and experienced cosmetic surgeon. He or she is the best person to help get you the results that you are looking for while keeping you in the loop about the potential risks and cost. How Good Is The Stem Cell Facelift?
A stem cell facelift includes face grafting. It is used for removing the unwanted and extra fat from an area of the body and then transfers it to the face. The fat in our body contains naturally regenerative cells. These also include blood vessel producing cells, adult stem cells and growth-secreting cells. With this facelift, the person s own cells are infused into their superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) as well as under the facial muscles. When these meet with the aged facial tissues, they generate new and healthy tissues that give you rejuvenated skin. Here is how this treatment is a great procedure: Eliminates Loose Skin: This procedure tends to reposition the patient s tissues by adding volume and stretching skin.. A Better Body Contour: This procedure starts with a gentle liposuction technique. It removes the unwanted fat from different parts of the body. However, the procedure only targets the stubborn fat that cannot be burnt. This is usually present in the belly, abdomen, hips or thighs. This helps the body in both ways and makes the body appear more slender. A More Volumized Skin: The fat that is injected, pumps the skin, making it look more youthful. It fills the hollow areas and rejuvenates the wrinkles and fat lines, giving your skin a more youthful and smooth appearance. Natural Looking Results: The treatment does not make a person s face look artificial or out of place. It only remodels it in a natural way. The previous surgical techniques used to cut the skin, pull it tight ,therefore it used to appear artificial and plastic-like. With the stem cell facelift, a lot of volumes is added to the skin however, it fits the hollow areas and the wrinkles are smoothened but the skin is not pulled as tightly as before. It makes your skin look youthful and plump. Less Bruising and Faster Recovery: The conventional facelift methods use scissors and scalpels and it can cause a lot of bruising and bleeding. This stem cell treatment, however, uses an electric knife and it stops the bleeding and cuts. It also helps in a faster recovery. Customized Treatment: Unlike the conventional methods, this treatment can be customized according to a patient s need and medical history. Only the areas they need should be rejuvenated, are treated. A stem cell facelift is obviously better than other facelifts. However, surgeons these days only operate on specific cases where it is genuinely required and not just for simple beautification reasons the same. Procedures like this might cause a lot of money hence; the requirements should be taken into account accordingly.

Chemical peeling will not remove the scars. You need subcision, dermaroller or laser resurfacing. Don't waste money on peels and no home remedy will work if it is really atropic scar.
