Yes, it is ok but why you give Poha all the time? You can give oats, dalia (if diabetic then you can give only namkeen dalia otherwise you can give both namkeen or sweet porridge. And also you can give double tinned milk if not available then when boil the milk mix 1/3 portion of water and can consume. Sauted vegetables. Etc. Low fat and reduce salt intake then normal atleast one portion of normal salt, and never use raw salt. Use fibrous food more in daily diet. And sprinkle with cinnamon powde...more

few tips on diet - say no to maida items like toast , khaari ,naan ,white bread . can drink tea but without sugar and say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk , can eat brown bread , can eat sprout’s , can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal and to avoid farsan food items and can eat fruits and say no to coconut water

- reduce your weight by diet & exercise
- avoid fried, spicy, sour & junk foods, also restrict intake of tea, coffee, dairy products & foods such as raw onions, garlic, beans, lentils, cabbage, cauliflower, radish
- chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals for proper digestion, have a light dinner at least 2-3 hrs before bedtime, take a walk for 5-10 min...more

1.the most important thing is to restrict salt. Do not take excess salt. Take as much is necessary to make your food palatable.
2. Second, is avoid excess oil, fat (saturated fat) etc. That may cause atherosclerosis and may further put pressure on your heart.

Add plenty of vegetables in the daily diet
Add almonds soaked 5 to 6 pcs Add flax seed 1 tbsp can take as raw
Avoid salty food item
Add fruits 2 variety daily
Avoid sugar and sweet things
Any kind of home made soup, vegetables is good for him
Sprouts can be taken in daily diet
Egg white is allowed
Prefer low fat milk and its products.

Do not take any oil or supplement directly without seeking expert advice. Without knowing full details it is difficult to advice anything. Generally supplements are needed when you are not able to meet nutritional requirements from food. Most of the times correcting food helps without having to take any supplements.

Rock salt is better than factory processed salt. But all salts have sodium as main content. In rock salt, there are other minerals apart from sodium which are beneficial. In factory salt other minerals are removed and only sodium remains. Thought rock salt is better, it should not be over consumed.
