Only if you are hungry after your lunch have the afternoon snack. If not then skip it.
For many it so happens that, if they skip the snack in between meals, then they are extremely hungry for dinner. They then over eat that meal which is not good for the body. Keep a maximum gap of 4 to 5 hours between meals.

No need to eat snacks n oily food just to improve weight. It will not help you to gain weight it may disturb your digestion n will make you sick. Eat healthy food, add some soaked nuts almond wall nuts etc, Banana will also help you, litle ghee in meals or consult dietician. Fried food will not give you anything.
If you wish you can take Kaumaryasava 20 ml with equal ammount of water aftermeals and aswagandha leham 5 gms twice daily ayurvedic suppliments.
