commonly there are two type of glaucoma. OPEN ANGLE AND CLOSED ANGLE. In open angle type patient age group 40 years or above, they can complain frequent changes of near vision glasses, sometimes heaviness or browache, sometimes symptomless. It is called post herpetic syndrome ,pain &burning sensation will gradually disappear in a year or two but it will disappear, you may take B12 in high dose at least for a year(tab neurokind forte one tab daily)& use analgesics tab if unbearable pain ,you may also lubricating eye drops ( genteal eye drops) 3-4 times regularly I will not advise you to go for botox, there is no chance of glaucoma in post herpetic neuralgia with regards

A. It usually takes 1 month for surgery to start working
B. Let's wait till all post operative medicines are stopped including steroids. Then only we will get more clear picture
C. If pressure is still high. We may inject 5FU in subconjunctival space
D. Last option would be to restart antiglaucoma medicines.

for glaucoma, laser is done in some specific cases. It is known as iridotomy.
Treatment of glaucoma depends on type of glaucoma, severity etc.

a high intra ocular pressure injures the optic nerve cells and cause irreversible cell death. These cells can't regenerate and hence vision can't be restored.

The eye donation - helps treat corneal opacities if the optic nerve and retina are healthy.

The cyclocryo has been advised to decrease the production of intra ocular fluid to help decrease the eye pressure. The doctor will have discussed the possible consequences.

Glaucoma medications needs to taken life long usually with regular follow up with your eye specialist. I can only give you virtual consultation on the basis of scenario you have described. Tooth problem has nothing to do with Anti glaucoma eye drops and bitter taste in throat is normal as it shows tear ducts are patent. Thyroid and diabetes needs to controlled by medications prescribed by Physician.
