Diet restrictions and regular exercise are mainstay of diabetes control. Avoid sweets sugar jaggery honey sweet fruits like banana mango grapes Chiku etc. Diet should be rich in fibres and vegetables. You should take small frequent meals instead of few and large meals. Regular exercise walking and yoga are very helpful.

Karela juice has been used as a possible treatment in controlling blood glucose. However, there very little clinically supported authentic data available, substantiate these claims. So from my point of view there is hardly any benefit in a diabetic person by taking it. Still people use it because of general belief. So you may continue using it. Thanks.

Diet for a diabetic person can be given only when all his details like blood glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight, height, extent of daily exercise, present dietary pattern & current treatment with dosage are known.
As regards foods to be avoided, following is the list: Sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items, all foods made from maida.

For diabetic person or for a normal healthy individual, no single oil is perfect. It is better to use two or three different oils. Like for making vegetables one type (ground nut, or sun flower or saflower or soy oil) for tadaka use ghee, for salads olive oil etc. Combination of oils is always good. Thanks.

Fenugreek or karela juice can not assure you a cure for diabetes, but just a little bit benefit only that too for some people and not for all. As the Diabetes is a metabolic disorder affecting multisystem, kindly get treated with Medicines instead of those Home remedies. You sholdnt endanger your life with those. Homoepathy can cure type 2 Diabtes mellitus completely in a period of six months to one year. Consult a homoepath soon.

Water melon is good choice of fruit for diabetes because of its GI & GL . GI-Glycemic Index is the effect of carbohydrates on blood glucose & Gl- Glycemic load which which combines both quality & quantity of actual carbohydrates consume. So for for watermelon both comes to low if you considered one cup or one plate of it.
