Thankyou for the query. There is nothing like an anytime snack. The body needs the right foods at the right time in the right amount.
So if it is a good habit to give milk or fruits to your child before or after play, does not mean you can just keep giving him fruits or milk throughout he day.
Every time has a specific need. So, give your kid a good breakfast before school, pack some nuts for the energy to play or study, have a meal of cereal protein vegetables in lunch and dinn...more

Give home made balanced nutritional meal
Give milk, rice / roti with lentils everyday You can make ragi/ health mix porridge Give nuts like pistachio, almonds, peanuts, cashew Egg whole can be given everyday
Animal protein like chicken, mutton and fish in moderation (if non vegetarian)
Don't give him sugary foods
Don't give processed foods like breakfast cereals Give atleast 2 vegetables everyday For snacks give fruits/nuts.
