Asked for male, 29 years old from Hyderabad

I am a 29 years old male, having pain caused by tooth decay. I can see that the lower left molar tooth has been partially broken (almost 20%) with a cavity inside it. It is paining right from the upper chick till the neck gland. Also I am having inexplicable pain while the upper teeth strike the affected tooth accidentally. The questions here are, can this situation be recovered a root canal treatment or extraction is the only way out? Also, can you provide some reliable dental clinics in Hyderabad/secunderabad where similar issues are taken care of?

an x-ray of the concerned tooth will reveal the depth of the problem( decay) . once taken, you will be advised for direct/ indirect pulp capping/ RCT/ extraction accordingly. please do not delay now
since progression of the problem is certain.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need adv cleaning and artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment with a cap for deep cavities.

If you want a cheaper option go for rpd. If you want best option go for implant. Cheapest in fixed options will be bridge. But in case of your own body go for something which is best.

Yes. It's necessary to get filling done. Best at earliest as its a progressive disease n can cause many harms if left unattended. Tooth material lost due to caries can not be regrow n by any available procedure by the body as its a blood less tissue.

Hello, I am an 18 years old female. One month ago I noticed that my salivary gland under my jaw was swollen, it was like a ball under my left jaw. I didn't do anything about it until after two weeks I started not feeling well and it felt uncomfortable when I slept at that side, my temperature also got high. So I went to the doctor and she told me that my salivary gland was infected, she prescribed an antibiotic to me and I started using it. I didn't feel like it worked and I actually got a little bit worse, I kinda lost the ability to taste food and I felt bad every day. I went to another doctor and she prescribed a stronger antibiotic and other two medications, one was for temperature and the other was something anti bacteria (because I told her that I had a surgery done in my gums two months ago). This time the medication really helped me, the swelling reduced a lot and my ability to taste food was back and everything went away. However now after two weeks from finishing using the medications, I noticed that my salivary gland swelled again and my ability to taste is also, I don't know how to describe it, it's like a bad taste in my mouth. I want to know should I be worried about this? My father said it could be cancer and I freaked out.

I used to have panic attacks, I am taking propranolol for that, my tooth is decayed & my dentist advised me to either go for a root canal or tooth extraction, I want to save my tooth but I am very very scared about the root canal treatment specially the rubber thing they put on your mouth. It feels like I am going to stop breathing & I just read treatment is not suitable for people who have hypertension, can someone help please too stressed.

My son age 5 years old who has teeth decay in his 4 tooth. His upper tooth cavity have swelling sometime. I visited doctor who has advice need root canal surgery with cap process also. My son have little autism behaviour. So doctor has suggested that need the strong Anesthesia surgery. And cost also will come Rs. 50,000/- It is correct or any other remedy available. Pl advice.

Just perform one x Ray of front region teeth and consult Dr. whether all teeth need rct or not. U need to perform rct for needed teeth becoz these teeth will lose at age of 7.5- 8 yrs. For remaining teeth simple filling process can be done.
