Cerebral Palsy Questions

As said cerebral palsy is non progressive disease, wanted to know are problems such as spasticity muscular weakness & fatigue causing pain in hip, ankle, knee joint will increases with the age because for last few years I am experienced it. Despite taking physiotherapy session alternate days & muscle relaxant not getting relief. Pls advice & help?

The physiotherapy technique needs to be optimized session alternate day are less dose of muscle relaxation may need optimising.

Since birth I am suffering from cerebral palsy, spastic type but for last few years, I am experienced more stiffness and pain in lower back pain mainly hip joint area, ankle, knee also feeling muscular weakness n fatigue in arms and legs resulting walking slower pace and unable to walk much. I am getting temporary relief when take physiotherapy session thrice a week muscle relaxant and syndopa plus. My latest brain mri shows. Periventricular leukomalacia (pvl) I am wanted to know is my problem aggravated because of starting of parkinson’s disease? And am I taking the right treatment or needs to change the course of treatment? Pls advice?

You are lucky and brave who has learned so much as to write so much so well. This is not usual with the patients suffering from cerebral palsy. Practice of yoga and meditation will certainly help you. Kindly visit my channel drncgupta me and my yoga and yoga simplified. It may reduce the dose of muscle relaxants you are taking.

My cerebral palsy child shows a sign of nails deformity 3 months before our dermatologist suggests derma dew cream for hands and atonoid0. 05% and mupi ointment dor toenails after 2 weeks we saw much increase in her disease now her both eyes upper lid lower lid and nose along with both palm and feet get affected we consult another doctor she defined it as dry eczema on her hands and feet she prescribed on abet cream and tacroz forte ointment for nails and apply on reddishness on hand and feet but don't know about eyes and nose and ask us to consult an eye specialist they said this is skin related issue please consult a dermatologist now we notice a red spot on her back and the chest. please help.

It can be because of dermatitis/ eczema or allergy or dryness or fungal infection or psoaiasis etc. I need details of case n preferably pics of affected area. In the meanwhile follow this moisturize frequently. Avoid sudden changes in temperature or humidity. Avoid sweating or overheating. Reduce stress. My sister is cp, as of now she is 30 years of age, she watches tv do everything but cannot walk, she was taking manopushpi, hybril cap, rasaraj rasa, ginko biloba+cmd given by ayurvedic doctor she was much better but due to lack of money could not able to buy medicines, plzzz can you suggest some good medicines as of now that you can get everywhere so tht she gets power to move and eye movement should stop.

Physiotherapy treatment should be taken for must. The normal movement pattern can be gained through the advice and the facilitation of certain muscle groups may lead to proper using of the affected side arm and leg.

It can be diagnosed immediately or within five hours and judgement needs to be done after clinical examination as per the symptoms

Need to see neurosurgeon. In many such cases detailed evaluation is required when seizures are not controlled. Sometimes surgery is also helpful.
