As such you can not withdraw a medicine without your illness is in complete remission. Feeling better is not a marker for abruptly stopping a medicine. You need to discuss with your psychiatrist about your diagnosis, how long a medication should be taken & out of the two medications, which one can be gradually stopped. I am 49 years old male I had mild chill, no rigor, no fever, I did my covid 19 tests for suspicion, came out -ve, in rtpcr, I used to take stresnil, 0.25 mg for 1 weeks, I have anxiety neurosis, when I checked my digital oximeter spo2, went to 91, massive tachycardia I had on saturday, evening,with breathlessness, sensation of panic attack, I was not taking stresnil for 2 days, when took the stresnil it is within hours I was fine, spo2 came to 96 which on last wednesday was 99, the tachycardia episode on saturday was about, 120 per minute, my rtpcr tests came negative on next day i.e sunday, I felt relaxed, now my query is why my increased heart rate, palpitations and tachycardia accompanied is due to panic attack or any other reason, now again I am not taking stresnil, my spo2 is now 94 to 96, I am fine now, I had asthma, but I checked with a medicine doctor he said you are fine, no asthma, or cardiac ailment, little but of anxiety, I am still sceptical regarding this pandemic covid 19, I feel some times mild sore throat but again it is not there, I want a valuable consultations for this whether I go for a repeat rtpcr, my asthma is a episodic one it is there when I get too cold, or during exercise or during excessive laughter.
