Bypass surgery is the only hope for you to lead a symptom free life, caused by heart vessel blocks which is equal to due to same reasons for stroke, a condition blood vessels of brain gets blocked -factors causing are same for brain and heart. Do talk to your doctor about operation considering risk if any due to ckd vs. Your symptoms of heart disease.

One blockage can be cleared by baloon therapy(angiography) Merits are that there is no need to do heart surgery + it serves as a warning for rest of life to take care of heart by eating well , exercise and taking stress in your stride with no negative feelings. Yes, angiograpgy cetainly can be done if kiney functions are normal. But the point is whether its necessary. Because the result is going to be same. But yes interpretation and advice may change. Instead of repeating the angiogram unless its of poor quality, you can show the angio cd to another cardiologist and have second openion.

Please follow the doctor and trust him for open heart surgery as beyond 2 blockages , stents ,more than 2 are not helpful in the long run. With advanced technology , open heart surgery is helpful but do take aftercare as directed by your doctor , we the doctors on this forum are here can only guide you , not confuse you.
