Dear lybrate-user the condition of sgpt of 58 is high as the normal range is between 8 to 45 normally. It can be reversed and you must stop taking toxins that are damaging the liver like alcohol, any other medicines that increase the injury to the liver. You may increase vit d intake as it reverses the damage. Vitamin d helps in preventing damage to liver and reducing sgpt levels. Oranges, soy milk, mushrooms, apples, eggs, fortified cereals, tofu, dairy products, cod liver oil, oysters and green leafy vegetables are good sources of vitamin d.
