Hello sir I am working at night shift work on computer from 5 pm to 2 am I got in bed to sleep at 2: 45 mostly but I can't sleep that time. My mind wanders to think a lot of unneccary thoughts. I can't sleep easily that time. What should I do for that.

Hello as you are working on pc for such a long time the brain needs some time to relax. Try doing some other work than looking at computer screen atleast last 30 min of work. Wash your eye with plain water take some deep breathe for going to sleep. You can also listen to some gentle, instrumentals (many apps available on playstore for sleep) All these will help in bringing your brain activity down and get sleep faster and sound. Take care.

This is professional hazard, if this night shift work has just begun, it will take time to adjust your system to this time pattern. Its nt a big issue, its just a work stress. If you had to stay awake for non stressful or maybe even a stressful personal reason. You cud sleep .without your wandering thoughts. Its just your environment n stress of the word called "night shift" which takes the wind off many people's sails. Its life, and there is no alternative ,but to work. Just relax n keep working.
