Hi Dr. My mother, 48 years old, had fever 3 - 4 months ago in which she suffered from low platelets counts and joints pain. The reports showed that it was Typhoid. She has been taking medicines (though not on regular basis) but if she resume for 2 - 3 days she again suffers from fever and joints pain. She prefers to avoid allopathic medicines as she has some allergies on her face when she have medicines daily.
