I have ocd (obsessive compulsive disorder) disease and fobia of death, I agreed that I am also facing problem due to repetition of any kind of work or etc even after taking medicine of xet plus cr 12.5 twice in a day. If I will not take medicine then face big problem so taking daily, is their any way so that I will also live normal life. Just becoz of this disease I have bp and sugar problem and taking telma h in morning and glycomet twice 850 mg daily. Kindly advise.

Hi, Thanks for writing in, welcome to the forum. If I understand you correctly you are having symptoms of OCD even after taking medicines although if you stop the medicines it becomes much worse. I hope you are taking the medicine daily without fail. Very often, if you miss doses, the efficacy of the treatment reduces. Many a time, if the treatment is interrupted, on starting the same medicine again, the efficacy may be reduced requiring a dose increase or even change of medicine. In your case, in the absence of specific and detailed information I can help you better if you give more details. Xet plus cr contains paroxetine in addition to clonazepam. 25 mg of paroxetine is a medium dose. If needed, the dose can be increased to 37.5 for additional benefits. Multiple other options exist that can be tailored based on your exact needs. Cognitive behavioral therapy can be used to either replace medicines, help reduce dose of medicine or increase the effects of the medicines. So, depending upon your exact scenario, needs, expectations and severity of problems, a variety of solutions exist. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason to get worried or be upset.
