Sir my pregnancy result is positive through pregnancy kit but after some day bleeding start .it start with open bleeding but when I ultrasound my abdomen then it show 5 week 5 day g sac. Dr. Again call us for re ultrasound after 10 days to check. My bleeding is not stopping n it is in few amount.� I asked this question yesterday but answer was too short. Can any doctor elaborate the solution.

The ultrasound report confirms that you are pregnant with 5 weeks 5 days gestational sac. But there is no cardiac activity of the baby. Any sort of bleeding during pregnancy is a bad sign. Your gynaecologist must have given you medicines to stop bleeding and for continuation of pregnancy. The ultrasound after 10 days will be to look for further growth of the baby and its cardiac activity. If the baby is growing and its heart beat is present then the pregnancy will be continued but if no cardiac activity is present then your pregnancy will have to be terminated. Lets hope that your bleeding will stops and everything goes well. Chances are only 50%. All the best.
