Hello. Its becoz of allergy. Baby acne is acne that develops on a baby's face or body. It is a common skin condition that is often temporary. In almost all cases, the acne will resolve on its own, even without treatment. Acne usually appears on the cheeks and sometimes on the forehead, the chin, and even the back. It can become more pronounced when your baby is hot or fussy, or if his skin is irritated by saliva, spit-up milk, or fabric that's a little rough or has been washed in strong laundry detergent. Do not use over-the-counter acne treatments, face washes, or lotions. Your baby's skin is very sensitive at this young age. 1.Wash your baby's face daily. Warm water is gentle and soothing. Bath time is a great time to do this. Look for a soap that is mild and moisturizing. When in doubt, ask your pediatrician for a recommendation. 2.Don't Scrub Scrubbing the skin with a towel can further aggravate the skin. Instead, gently sweep a soapy washcloth over the face in circular motions. Once the soap is washed off, use a towel to pat your baby's face dry. 3.Skip the Lotions Lotions and creams may aggravate your baby's skin. This can make the acne worse. 4.Breastfeeding for first 6 months is considered as a boon for a newborn. It builds the immune system of the baby and since babies cannot eat anything, breast milk is an ideal food. Breast milk contains Lauric acid that has anti-bacterial properties. Also, it has omega-3 fatty acids and all the essential nutrients that not only nourishes the baby's body but also exfoliate newborns skin gently. Thus, making it as an effective home remedy to get rid of baby acne. 5.Make sure you clean the baby's face with soft washcloth or baby wipes after feeding. Also, regularly wash his diaper area. Do not forget to handle your baby with clean hands. Apart from the baby, their sleeping area should also be cleaned and sanitized. Wash your baby's clothes with mild detergent. Do not let the baby, touch the affected area. 6.Do Not Kiss your New Born to Get Rid of Baby Acne Kissing is not the only way to shower love to your new one. Doing it once or twice is okay but repeating this regularly can eventually harm the baby's skin. This is because our saliva may contain bacteria which may not affect us but, can harm the baby's health. So, make sure you don't kiss your baby and touch the affected area. 7.Do Not Eat Allergic Foods to Get Rid Of Baby Acne Since you have to breastfeed your baby therefore, avoid the consumption of spicy and oily foods. The food you eat directly affects your baby. So, eat light food and drink lots of water. Spicy and oily foods are a big no for new moms. 8.Do Not Use Oily Lotions to Get Rid of the Baby Acne Do not apply oily lotions on baby's skin. These lotions are too greasy for your baby's skin and may aggravate the condition by clogging the pores. The acne may seem dry but, avoid using oily lotions. Instead, you can apply baby cream or baby body oil or even coconut oil or olive oil. Take care.
