Seems she might be suffering from specific learning disorder, wherein the IQ is average or above average, but learning difficulty arises in reading, or writing, or math or a combination. Kindly consult a psychiatrist, who will screen and refer to a clinical psychologist for assessment and based on the results remedial education will be advised. All the best.

That is difficult to say but the signs may be important enough not to ignore it. There is some fear in the child to repeat words in asn obsessive-compulsive way. If you know of any reason why this child of yours had experienced ear inducing experience, it will help sa child counselor to determine the cause and how to go about dealing with it. Once this fear is out of he way, I think much improvement will take place but at a gradual rate. You can also encourage her to speak about whatever is threatening or intimidating to her to encourage her to express the feeling. There could be some intimidation in the school too that needs to be explored. It could be by other kids or the school atmosphere. In the meantime make the home atmosphere very conducive for good communication, peaceful ambience, lots of love etc. You can also provide her a lot of opportunity for playa s a form of exercise, and improve her diet and sleep patterns.

Dear Lybrate user the information you have provided is not enough to be labelled as learning disorder. for calling it a learning problem we need to understand that if there is real difference in her class performance and performance at home or is she unable to recall the answers or is she makes too many spelling mistakes, or unable to write proper sentences etc. etc. simply writing same numeral or word in the answer sheet could be just a doodles by the child or may be she z not able to recall full answers so just to fill up the answer sheet she may be writing repeated words or numerals. so pls provide clear in depth information so that further help could be provided. take care
