I am experiencing some light to moderate pain in my testicles from past one week. I don't know the reason why am I experiencing this. The pain continuous till the lower right abdomen. Sometimes pain goes away. Some times it's pains a little. Some times it's irritating for me. I don't know what to do. I have searched internet about this and many websites say some thing and it goes of by using antibiotics. Please give a prompt response. I am pretty much worried about it.

Hello- The most common cause of testicular pain and swelling is physical trauma. This can occur if an individual accidentally hurts his groin or is struck in the area. The second common condition related to testicular pain is epididymitis (inflammation of one or both epididymes). As the epididymis is attached to the testicle, infection often spreads to the testicle (called epididymo-orchitis). These conditions, which can occur at any age, may cause severe, sudden pain. Most infections related to scrotal pain in adolescent and young adult males are caused by sexually-transmitted bacterial infections (STDs, STIs), especially chlamydia and gonorrhea.
