My mother has taken overdose of vitamin D3 Doctor had prescribed 60k Units capsule once weekly, but my mom has taken 3 in one week (between 21 Nov - 27 Nov) Do we need to see a doctor to detoxify? Any home remedy is also appreciated.

You can rest easy. No need to worry. Problems can occur only if Vit D is taken in excess over several months. In your mothers case she has only taken two doses extra. Our body usually flushes out unwanted stuff on its own. However you can take following steps to detox. 1. Drink more water for next fortnight. 2. Take two lemons per day with water. 3. Take beetroot salad everyday 4. Take no milk or milk products for two weeks. Only tea can be taken. These are just precautionary measures. But nothing to worry about she will be fine.
