I am a 20 year old girl, I have started having intercourse with my partner, its been quite a few times that I have done it, but it doesn't right. All I feeling is pain. While having intercourse it doesn't feel pleasuring rather then pain. Is something wrong with me? What should me and my partner do? Please suggest me something. I'm freaking out.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. There is nothing to worry or to be panic. First time sex or the initial attempts of sex could be painful mainly because of lack of elasticity in your vagina. Secondly, most of the times, you will be anxious about the initial sex and therefore, the elasticity may not work. Ask your boy friend to have at least 15 minutes of foreplay. You can feel the arousal and readiness of your vagina for insertion. Then only allow insertion of penis. Take care.
