Please see if it is swollen and infected. If so then please go to the doctor for a check-up. sometimes it require a minor surgery where a part of the ingrown nail needs to be cut and drain the pus if present. The surgery depends on the status of the nail. You can soak the toe in warm water for 10 minutes which will give relief. Avoid shoes which are tight. Maintain good hygiene.

First treat infections with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory ,cut nail before in grow, cut in straight line form not in round cut, wear losses shoes don't wear tight shoes spacialy which press nail if all work fail then go for surgery for nail bed elevation this is tha only solution.
