In diabetes, it is better to use unsaturated fatty acids like pufas & mufas which are present in a number of oils, but butter is purely saturated fatty acids. Occasionally a bit of it may not be bad. But regular usage is definitely advised, as it can definitely increase cholesterol levels. The consequences are affection of blood vessels to heart and peripheral tissues.

Butter whether it's white or yellow, has a high fat content which is not good for health if eaten on a daily basis, having excess may lead to issues related to cholesterol. Kindly consult privately for detailed diet thanks.
