I had some sort of chest pain. I had done both ecg as well as 2d echocardiogram and both are normal. How long is the echocardiogram valid? Should I repeat this in case of persistent pain?

Dear lybrateyuser, - As your investigation results are normal your pain may not be of cardiac origin, could be due to acidity - avoid spicy, fried & junk food, chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, avoid more than 1-2 cups of tea, coffee per day, also alcohol, tobacco if you take, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have 7-8 glasses of water per day - if it is more on exertion then do not strain, lift weight or do strenuous exercise - if pain is persistent then consult a doctor & take his advise.
