I am suffering from alopecia areata, hairs on my whole body are falling even of eyebrows and moustache. I have bought medicines but still I am afraid of taking them because doctor said they steroids. Are there some side affects? Will my hairs regrow and this disease could be treated? Can you please help me by giving some advice?

Its an auto immune disease and we can control it but can't cure it and steroid intake will lead to stoppage of hair fall but the day we stop the treatment there can again be same symptoms of hair loss and so now we have to decide as per benefits outweigh the risks.
