Dear Lybrateuser, - The heaviness in centre of chest could be due to acidity or GERD - avoid spicy, fried & junk food - have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, do not lye down for atleast an hour after meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, raise the pillow end by 4-5 inches for proper digestion, take a walk after meals - have 8-10 glasses of water per day - do regular exercise like walking, jogging for 20-30 min, also do yoga, deep breathing for 5-10 min daily.
