My 12 yer old son has a tsh of 10.55 and ama of 600. Ft4 is .91 and ft3 3.28. He has visible goitre. What should I do.

Hello, From results mentioned he has hypothyroidism due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Since he has visible goitre, it better to consult an endocrinologist and start the treatment with thyroxine in specified dosage. If surgery is required, it is the local endocrinologist who can guide very well. Do not waste time and get an appointment. I am sure there excellent endocrinologists in Kolkata. Thanks.
