Scaling only removes the deposits over the teeth like stains or tartar but the yellow colour of teeth many times may be due to thin enamel which reflects underlying dentin layer which is yellow. And if clour is due superficial layer of teeth then whitening procedures like bleaching can b advised. So ask your dentist about options fr whiter teeth.

Scaling just removed the tartar n plaque deposition over the tooth. It doesn't whiten your teeth. Even after scaling and polishing you are not satisfied and feel like the shade is yellow, then you can go for teeth whitening procedure by a professional dentist. By the way, scaling is recommended every six months. Avoid too much brushing, teeth looks more yellowish if enamel layer becomes thinner.

Hello if you are using power form or ayurvedic to clean your teeth. Your teeth become more yellowish with timebecause powder is more abrasive it will wear outermost layer of tooth enamel. And tooth become more yellowish due to exposure of inner layer dentine which is more yellowish. So avoid vigorous brushing. bleaching can be done. Which can improve your tooth shade.
There are several causes of tooth discoloration, including: Foods/drinks. Coffee, tea, colas, wines, and certain fruits and vegetables (for example, apples and potatoes) can stain your teeth. Poor dental hygiene. Inadequate brushing and flossing. Here is home remedy for brighter teeth--- Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes. Hello lybrate-user, shade of your teeth depend upon your genetics, tooth abnormalities and as well as upon your habits (like tobacco, pan etc) and as well as on your hygiene! Scaling is basically done to remove debris from your teeth, it does not whiten your teeth.
I suggest you to maintain and good oral hygiene and go for bleaching of teeth!
If in case you have more coffee n tea that also will give you yellowishness to your teeth, in that scenario you can quit that, if not in your hands to quit than go for bleaching. Again if you go for bleaching by laser that won't give after effects in form of sensitivity.
Your teeth could be naturally yellow or you might be brushing harshly removing or thinning your enamel and letting the yellowish dentine see through the thin enamel.
Please use a soft or ultra soft brush and try whitening treatment which is costly and not permanent.

Hello You just have to make habit of brushing twice a day and use mouthwash and spit with water after every meal. This will help you get a shade better. And if it don't work then visit dentist for bleaching.
