lybrate-user, Sugar and honey both contain sucrose which is made up of glucose and fructose. Sugar is made by certain chemical processes and is only sucrose. Where as honey has some vitamins and anti- oxidants. There is no lower or upper limit for consuming sugar. But excess sugar is definitely not good for health. In fact one need not consume sugar at all. Because all the grains that we eat like rice, wheat, jowar, bajra and millets contain mainly starch, which is ultimately converted to glucose. However, it is better to eat as less as possible, to remain healthy. Thanks.
