I am 21 year old. I just noticed a kind of small hard bone behind my left jaw. It does not pain. And can be felt when I put my finger deep inside and is also not visible and unmovable. The thing that bothers me is that I dont feel it in my right jaw. Should I consult anyone please answer.

This could the thickening of ligament or extension of styloid process, get an opg xray done and show it. This could be an symptom less condition for life long.

Hi, although it is not paining, we should know exactly what is the cause of hard swelling. You can get an opg done and consult an oral medicine specialist or an oral surgeon in your city. Regards.

This probably is a molar teeth which you are feeling as hard bone. Get an x ray done of that area. Things will get clear. You can send me that x ray.
