I am 50 years old I heard sometime that we consume more water a day than max. Required quantity can cause or possible to suffer cancer after long time . Is it really true or misunderstanding. I want to clear myself.

Hi, I appreciate you seeking guidance. Well, its not water that can cause cancer but its the content that matters. Its not advisable for one to drink in excess as it will not only get ones kidneys to work harder but also is likely to land one up in a dangerous condition called hyponatraemia. Again, specific to your case, you can limit your daily water intake to 2 litres max. Hope this clarifies. Take care. Sincerely,
