Abnormal cell growth in the tissues of the salivary glands are known as salivary gland tumors. It can either be a malignant or non-malignant tumor. Loss of sensations on one side of the face and lump formations in the affected area are symptoms of this disorder. Normal tumors can be removed by surgery whereas malignant tumors require radiation therapy.
