Lybrate-user, fruits permitted for a person with diabetes are: papaya, pomegranate, orange, sweet lime, apple, pear, guava and other melons. Fruits to be avoided include mango, banana, chikkoo and grapes. Fruits are to be taken not more than 100 a day, that too when blood glucose is in good control. I do not know where you were given the info mentioned by you. Thanks.
