1. Hold the toothbrush sideways against your teeth with some of the bristles touching your gums. 2. Tilt the brush so the bristles are at 45 degree angle and pointing at your gum line. 3. Start brushing from most posterior tooth engaging 2-3 teeth at a time. 4. Give back and forth motion with short stroks using your brush without displacing the bristles from tooth surface. Do this for 18-20 strokes. 5. Sweep the bristles over the crown of the tooth towards biting surface of tooth. 6. Repeat the procedure for the back side of the tooth as well. 7. Hold your tooth brush straight and push it from the toe to clean the back surface of front teeth.
