if you've had the foul breath for some time, it could be related to the plaque and calculus deposits and the associated inflammation of the gums. It may also occasionally arise from an underlying systemic problem, e. G. Poorly controlled diabetes, gastro-oesophageal reflux etc. However, if it has only started after your meal last night, it might be due to the food particles getting lodged somewhere in between your teeth, possibly in a decayed tooth. I suggest you see a dentist so that the correct cause can be identified and appropriate treatment instituted.
Hope this helps.
