My son was 3 month old he was not sleeping properly not even 8 hrs perfectly in a 24 hrs. What's the problem please suggest me my wife totally depressed.Please tell.

Does baby cry or just awake.
Babies generally have light slep and awakened easily
if crying
he might be hungry, getting wet too often or having some abdominal discomfort.
Do proper breast feeding, even he may just suck the nipple during sleep.
Keep him in a comfortable, peaceful, relatively dark environment.
Carry him in your arms and have skin to skin contact may do some rocking movements
give a baby massage and bath daily
do proper burping after feed
change nappy as required and have patience
give feed back.
