I am hypothyroid patient, I am taking thyroxine 200 now. Is there any side effect to take this medicine to me?

Mr. Lybrate-user, if you feeling fine with that dose and if tsh levels are within normal (desired) limit, then there is absolutely no problem. Thyroxine is actually similar to the natural hormone produced by thyroid gland. So most often it is very well tolerated. Some times side effects may be seen, early in treatment. But majority of patients do not experience any problems. Thanks.
