What is the background defect of type 2 diabetic. Why it is not curable? is it not due to improper concept about diabetic state? what a poor state of medical research? why don't you research in integrated way with pharmacy specialist doing research in drugs?

I am only a clinician, can help people to control their disease. Research in this field is going on since ages, but there's no cure in site. Diabetes particularly t2 occurs because of either defect in insulin secretion or insulin resistance or both. Increased body weight, inactivity, junk foods. And migration are contributing to the alarming increase in incidence. Because of increased blood glucose and fats insulin producing cells are damaged. This leads to diabetes. One can prevent it by weight control, exercise and balanced diet.
