A) please let me know if having restyl (0.25) or clonotril (0.25) 5 - 6 years is safe? (for anxiety, ocd and panic attacks). Though I have it in 2 divided doses i.e, (half of 0.25) worrying of addiction and dependency I am very much concerned since I am having it from a long time. B) and for how long can I have serta 25 (sertraline) for contamination ocd? Is taking it for 6 months safe? Is it ok to have serta alone without clonazepam or alprazolam?

Restyl and clonotril both belong to a group of medications that can lead to dependence over them if taken over a long time. It can affect your memory, attention and other cognitive functions in the long run. It's better to gradually taper and stop it and only taken when absolutely necessary. This should be done in consultation with a psychiatrist. Serta is a safe and effective medicine commonly used in ocd. It can be taken without restyl or clonotril. If you need to stop it, you should do it in consultation with your psychiatrist.

It all comes down to your level of anxiety. The way you are anxious about tablets shows your level of anxiety. Dependency happens when you self medicate. So for now- don’t worry.
