Kindly get an x-ray done of the tooth having pain and may be you will have to get root canal treatment done followed by a crown or cap. Till then you can take a pain killer like tab dentaforce dt 1 tab dissolved in water. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique.

If the pain is due to decay and mainly more during lying down position or during nights, then root canal with crown will help you to slove your problem. If you dont want to save your teeth, then extraction will be the option.

See a dentist immediately. He may prescribe you the painkillers and antibiotics in required. Check for the cause of pain and treat accordingly. It might go for root canal or may be extraction if the tooth is beyond reparable condition.
