Hello. I have pcod and had 3 fibroids of small size. I started taking metformin 1000 mg per day in oct 2022 based on gynecologist recommendation from india. I got pregnant on march 2nd 2023. Should I continue with metformin? Some doctors say its not needed by gynecologist say it should be taken. I am still taking 500 mg. Please suggest what to do? I live in canada and I cannot find a gynecologist here but I did find a general physician and they ask me to avoid it.
